WA Declaration Empty WA Declaration

Post by Apocryphi Tue May 26, 2015 5:42 pm

So, as many regions do, I propose this, a system of which to control puppetry and the regions attitude towards the world assembly:

All nations must either:
-Join the WA with their main nation within the region, and endorse the regional delegate whomever this may be. (I'd suggest the President, this however is another matter of course..)
-Declare where their WA puppet is, confirming this with a telegram to a selected individual(s) within the region. (Who this should be is up for debate, the individual however should compile a publicly viewable list on the forum, to maintain maximum transparency within the operation)

This topic is of course in drafting stages and open for region-wide debate.

Thank you.

Keep yo hands off my strings, My puppets would say no...but that would mean I would be, and so I do!!!!!

In all seriousness though, I do agree with this, for the most part. The delegate position as far as I know, is going to be executive exclusively to the "founders" unless Xolox decides otherwise.

And with that being said, it makes the position inherently useless to anyone other then him or myself. He made me executive to freely update the WFE so he wouldn't have to, so losing that would mean that he would have to quickly strip the delegate of its executive powers before any harm is done.

I don't think that you should really force anyone to spill the beans on their WA nations and/or puppets just for a matter of personnel choice.

That's fine about the delegate-ship, as I said, that's another matter entirely.

We would just be requesting the name of their WA nation, not other puppets. This is of course to allow 100% transparency, not allowing a single individual to hold multiple votes or voices within the region to try and control the region all for themselves. A common occurrence in some regions across NS past and present. A simple security measure for our esteemed collection of nations! Smile

If it was a matter of WA multiing, then the proper authorities would have to be contacted.

I do think I get what you're saying though, is it where one person basically has a "secret" WA nation and they try to initiate regional domination? xD

Yeah, though I suppose there's nothing currently enforcing government positions to require WA membership.
However,
This piece of legislation still stands.
