Proposal Expiration Act Empty Proposal Expiration Act

Post by Kitt Fri Aug 07, 2015 4:15 pm

Preamble: In these recent months, our system has fallen to inactivity. The same is said with proposals that have been waiting for council vote since our region's creation.

I would like to hereby submit the Proposal Expiration Act.

All proposals that have not received an update from the author within two weeks of posting unless inactivity is stated will either be dismissed or can therefore be picked up by another nation.

All proposals that have not had a comment within two weeks regarding suggestions/changes/updates/etc on the proposal will be dismissed or can be picked up by another nation.

All proposals that have not been picked up by a council member for two weeks since the final draft of the proposal will be dismissed and can then be picked up by another nation.

Proposals that are picked up once again will not be able to do so twice unless noticeable changes are made to the structure, content, nature, etc.

If you do not want to change your proposal after it has been dismissed only to inactivity then you must file a public petition and await proper process to take place.

Proposals that have been dismissed due to inactivity once picked up may be labelled as [Immediate Pick Up] to draw attention to the council members.

Proposal Expiration Act Empty Re: Proposal Expiration Act

I'd change the periods to two weeks, and was also wondering who deemed a proposal 'edited' enough to be resubmitted after it's been let go twice.

Updated. Mr. Green

What I'm meaning here is noticeable changes in content possibly explaining more in depth.

If you'd like I'll remove it, just wanted to give it a shot. Wink

I'm in favour of this, we need to be more active.

I'm giving this proposal 24 hours before I ask a council member to bring it to the floor unless any other contributions/criticisms are made.

Contact has been mad with the council members yet no response nor action.

This folks is why we need a proposal like this.
