Sea names? Once again... Empty Sea names? Once again...

Post by Apocryphi Wed Jun 10, 2015 5:41 pm

so this was once brought up by Ebsotz, but it was defeated by a slim margin. So I'm wondering if opinions have changed.

One thing would be that all final decisions of sea names would be at my discretion.

So Yes or No? -to naming Seas

I vote Yes - on the condition they're not named after nations.

Yes. However, the nation who borders the sea can name it whatever he likes, correct?

Ocean names - yes
Sea names - no

There'd be just way too many sea names, in my opinion. Let's make it so that if a continent has above X members, they'll have named seas. Otherwise the map will get too full.

A suggestion tho: The ocean around Atlas, can we call it Atlantic ocean? Y'know, it fits. Mr. Green

I vote yes, to the ocean names.

We're going to have to create a name poll for the oceans.

One isn't needed.

It's all to do with the map.

The map isn't being departmentalised, but thanks for the offer.

Can you provide us with a map of what you think should be the oceans?

I really don't want to be super nit-picky here, but... These are oceans, not seas!
