Unclaimed Land
This is kind of a lore suggestion, so I guess it wouldn't really be voted on.
What have you thought of the unclaimed pieces of land to be, and what should we officially declare it to be?
Uninhabited Wilderness?
Countries that are just not members of the Global Federation?
Something else?
I just thought about it while writing my latest news article...

Re: Unclaimed Land
I think we should have an extra map claim to designate any vassal kingdoms of ours, if we have any. Otherwise, anything outside of our spheres of influence can be called the Wilderness.

Re: Unclaimed Land
Maybe some countries can exist that are just not a part of the region but there is also wilderness? I'm guessing vassals, territories etc would be available but only out of initial claim size or expansion claim size.

You know, It'd be interesting to have it be that all the land is inhabited by governments but when a new country moves in, they don't just pop up on the map, they succeed from the shadow country on the map.

That's what I was thinking.Lockdownn wrote:You know, It'd be interesting to have it be that all the land is inhabited by governments but when a new country moves in, they don't just pop up on the map, they succeed from the shadow country on the map.
Re: Unclaimed Land
I'd say all of it: Wilderness, semi-civilized tribes, and small nations with little to no global influence.

New nations like to pick where they go, and I'm not up for drawing random lines all over the map and numbering it for plots haha

Re: Unclaimed Land
Well it would have never been like that, it would have been imaginary countries that are "there" but not "there".Apocryphi wrote:This^Apepistan wrote:I'd say all of it: Wilderness, semi-civilized tribes, and small nations with little to no global influence.

Re: Unclaimed Land
I motion it is down to a nation to assume a NPC nation exists somewhere, but for this the originating nation must provide:
A brief of the nation.
An ongoing RP story with the nation, to give it reason to exist.
Though I suggest if an NPC nation is in the way of a nations desired expansion, if the nation does not wish to invade it ICly, it cannot take this area.
Further suggestions?

Well, for "newbies" probably not, but for the people wanting expansions then that would make more sense to me personally. I really do not want to govern where and how people claim land (for the most part) because new users honestly might get bored or not care.
Re: Unclaimed Land
If nobody has any further points then unless this is going to be drafted into legislation, it should be closed and archived.
