United Federation of Nations

The United Federation of Nations (UFN) is an international peace cooperation organization submitted by Chackle and Handenosaunee. The goals of the organization would be to prevent any nations violating human rights and to keep stability in the world. It would vote on resolutions that are proposed from member states.

The UFN is a system based on two principal organs, the Regional Assembly and UFN Secretariat. The Regional Assembly is the legislative branch and the UFN Secretariat is the executive/administrative branch.

Regional Assembly

The Regional Assembly would be the main deliberative assembly of the United Federation of Nations. Composed of all member states, the assembly meets in regular sessions but emergency sessions can also be called. The Regional Assembly is charged with maintaining peace and security among countries. When voting member states can vote for/against or abstain. The assembly is led by the Chairperson, elected from among the member states. When the Regional Assembly votes on resolutions, a two-thirds majority of those present and voting is required. The assembly would have the power to make binding decisions that member states have agreed on by joining the UFN.

UFN Secretariat


The UFN Secretariat is headed by the Chancellor which is voted in office by the Regional Assembly. It provides studies, information, and facilities needed by United Federation of Nations bodies for their meetings.
The Chancellor acts as the de facto spokesperson and leader of the UFN. The office would have a dual role of an administrator of the UN organization and a diplomat and mediator addressing disputes between member states and finding consensus to global issues. The Chancellor would be nominated by a member state and would be voted in office by the Regional Assembly.
