During the Lockdownnian expansion to the southwest, the Kipchak Army have encountered the Lockdownnian "small fraction of troops scouting the areas", and have ambushed them. The First Akinzi light cavalry regiment have also raided a small number of villages, then retreated back to the wilderness before encountering any heavy resistance. The use of horses allowed the light cavalry regiment to pass over heavy terrain through which motorized units were unable to follow them, and maintain above-infantry speed on light terrain.
Lockdownnian guards and scouts have killed some soldiers during the raid, however, the losses are minimal. As the situation currently stands, Lockdownn will have a hard time annexing the area without larger military units, as an unknown number from the 14.000 strong guerilla army is actively distrupting the Lockdownnian forces and administration.
